Five Live want to hear about this tractor thing that everybody is talking about as well as wanting to hear us have a warble. Town Under Thu 30th Nov 2000 15:15 Some reports are claiming Town are about to step up their operations down under. A number of sources are suggesting that Town are among a number of clubs about to have discussions with Eric Thompson regarding a possible coaching link. Thompson is an ex-Hearts and Aberdeen player who has been in Australia for 27 years. He has also been manager of the Australian national side. |

Magilton in NI Squad Wed 09th Aug 2000 11:57 Town midfielder Jim Magilton is in the Northern Ireland squad which plays Yugoslavia at Windsor Park two days before Town's Premiership kick-off with Spurs. Town manager George Burley said he was unhappy at the timing: "It is not ideal preparation having Jim away for a few days in the week leading up to our first game of the new season." He also praised the Ulsterman saying he was playig some of his best football of his career. |
